The day to day reality of animal rescue can be measured in cups of joy, pints of sadness, and teaspoons of laughter. Birth, death, rebirth and loss rearrange themselves each day into a new and surprising tableau so that I never know to expect when my feet hit the floor each morning. Always there are stories, and here are just a few of them.

Sammi is Ready for Santa


Sammi continues to enjoy the comforts of home now that she has returned. Her family wonders how she survived so long without a couch!
